Jamaica’s Usain Bolt, finally broke Michael Johnson’s 200m world record, when he clocked a sizzling 19.30 seconds to shatter the previous world record of 19.32 seconds. He ran the race of his life, on the day that he turns 22. The organizers were nice enough to play a happy birthday song for Usain Bolt, while the world celebrated with him.

On another note, Jamaica’s Melaine Walker won the 400m hurdles moments after Bolt’s blistering performance. It took an Olympic record for her to win the gold.

Good going Jamaica…

Jamaica is unstoppable at the Beijing games. They have now sweep the sprints for male and female and they are poised to win the 4×100 for men and woman, later today.

The United States athletes are having the worse Olympics in a long time. Both their relay teams for the 4x100m have been disqualified. Things are just not going their way. I sympathize win Tyson Gay and Lauryn Williams, but it’s Jamaica time now.

  2. I agree with you Keisha, I can’t wait to see the relays later. Big up my Jamaican athletes
