John McCain must be cursing his luck when news broke that is running mate, Sarah Palin’s, 17 year old daughter is 5 months pregnant. The breaking news was announced by the Palins in a statement released from the John McCain campaign.
According to the Palins, Bristol made the decision on her own to keep the baby and she is going to marry the father.
They further went on to say:
“We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart and mean everything to us.
Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support.”
What does this mean, a clear victory for Obama or does this show the world that Sarah Palin is like the oridinary person, who is in a better position to relate to the people?

Clear victory for Obama, I think not. On the other hand Sara may only be able to relate to a small section of the female demographics. I think though we need to give the American people a bit more credit as we do not predispose ourselves to thinking that a child out of wedlock has much weight on a candidates ability to lead and make decisions, just as experience as a community organizer
give one the experience to lead the country. 
I agree with your comments that one’s family life doesn’t necessarily reflects his/her ability to lead. However, there is a lot of drama centered around the Palins and I don’t think America should go in that direction. The country needs a drama free government to lead them out of the gutter that Bush has place them in.
I admire Sarah Palin because she had also done a lot in the area of Politics specially in Alaska where she was a governor.
Sarah Palin is a woman with a very strong character and personality that is why i like her. .,
