Yesterday was a sad day in Hollywood as news circulated that the Oscar Award winner, Jennifer Hudson, lost her mom and brother to the gun. Reports are that the two were found dead in a South Side home in Chicago. At the moment no one knows why the two were killed so violently, but we hope and pray that whosoever is responsible for this gruesome act be found and dealt with harshly by the law.

Update: Reports came out that the shooting arise out of a domestic dispute and the police has the suspected killer, William Balfour, in custody. Balfour is said to be the boyfriend of Jennifer Hudson’s sister and he is also out on parole from the Illinois River Correctional Center on attempted murder, carjacking and stolen-property charges, according to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
