Jessica Simpson has had secret lovers and I can’t say that I’m surprised.

She has been with a number of well-known individuals, including ex-husband Nick Lachey, John Mayer and the new love of her life, Dallas Cowboy’s Tony Romo.

Jessica claims that there is song  in her debut country album, ‘Do You Know’, which refer to her secret love affairs.

“There are guys that people don’t know that I’ve been in love with. I’ve had secret lovers.”

The pop diva turned country singer also revealed to Elle magazine her secret past, which was one of abuse.

“I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run,” Simpson said.

She divulged that she was cruelly harassed when she was still in school.

She cited:

“I would walk down the school halls and hear people talking about me. Some of them would throw toilet paper at my house or throw eggs at my door. They would also write things on the sidewalk in permanent marker. They really hated me.”

Simpson commented that her newest album is her most personal yet and has been in the making for a long time now.

“I’ve been waiting to let it out,” she exclaimed. “So it’s very exciting.”
